General Manager Lu Ying's New Year's Message for 2026

Time tells no tales, yet striving speaks loud. With determined strides echoing ahead, we have entered the promising year of 2026. At this moment of turning over a new leaf, on behalf of the leadership of Chenguang Group, I would like to extend our sincerest New Year's greetings and best wishes to all our employees and their families working in India, Zambia, Myanmar, and across China, as well as to the leaders at all levels, shareholders, clients, partners, and friends from all sectors who have supported the development of Chenguang Biotech.

In 2025, the global landscape remained complex and volatile, marked by recurring geopolitical tensions and sluggish economic growth. Amid such a intricate environment, every member of Chenguang has stayed true to our founding spirit, pressed ahead with resilience, and continued to write our own story of excellence with remarkable perseverance and wisdom, always putting dedicated strivers at the heart of what we do.

In 2025, we at Chenguang set sail with mission as our compass and endeavor as our oar, navigating steadily through waves and winds to deliver a solid annual report: our three flagship products progressed steadily, with both capsanthin and capsicum oleoresin sales reaching record highs; our application-oriented products continued to innovate, accurately meeting customers’ personalized needs; revenue from nutrition and spice products grew steadily, with silymarin and zanthoxylum extract leading the world in production and sales; the protein segment optimized operations, applied scientific market analysis, improved production techniques, and significantly boosted business performance; stevia products stood out with cost advantages, achieving another record in sales revenue; ginkgo leaf tablets successfully entered the national centralized procurement system for Chinese patent medicines, marking a new sales breakthrough; and Yingkou equipment operations maintained strong momentum.

In 2025, the company anchored itself to high-quality development, driving breakthroughs in process innovation and focusing on project implementation to steadily strengthen our core competitiveness. The new health food workshop was completed and put into operation, expanding our annual soft capsule production capacity to 2.7 billion units; protein production lines underwent technological upgrades, significantly raising the output ratio of 60% protein products; and the marigold base construction in Myanmar progressed steadily.

In 2025, we deepened R&D in comprehensive plant resource utilization to pioneer new industry pathways. Chlorogenic acid and astaxanthin extraction and purification projects were successfully scaled to production; ginkgo leaf extraction technology achieved new breakthroughs; differentiated silymarin products and high-end preparations were successively developed and launched; pilot planting of high-performance marigold varieties proved successful; and new advances were made in bio-fermentation technology.

In 2025, the company recruited 104 talents with bachelor’s degrees or above, including 31 master’s degree holders, reinforcing our sustainable development pipeline. We continued to implement the all-staff talent development plan, built platforms for growth, and expanded our team of industry experts. The number of senior engineers rose to 37, intermediate technical title holders exceeded 108, and we now have nearly 30 product specialists. Our leaders and staff were honored with awards including “National Model Worker,” “Autonomous Region Model Worker,” “Outstanding Talent of Hebei Province,” and “Top Talent of Hebei Province,” with 12 individuals recognized as Class A/B high-level talents in Handan City.

This has been a year of carrying the torch against the wind—and a year of growing stronger with each challenge. Every employee has shone in their role, lighting the way forward. To those working tirelessly on the front lines, building our future piece by piece, exploring innovations with dedication, and chasing dreams day and night—you are the very confidence and strength behind the great vision of our company.

As the old year fades with the wind, new hopes rise on the horizon. In the coming year, we will continue to pursue high-quality development and lead our industry toward sustainable growth. We will fully integrate core strengths in talent, technology, equipment, and capital to cultivate “around ten plant extract varieties that rank first or among the top worldwide,” opening new frontiers in the extraction industry. With innovation as our core drive, we will strive to set the benchmark for replacing synthetic pigments with natural ones. We will deepen our presence in the health industry, including health foods and Chinese patent medicines, systematically enhance our regional brand influence, and contribute to human well-being.
